This blog post details the new features and bugs release for 30.11.2021.
New Features #
1. An Indicator for a Vendor that has NOT Onboarded #
We added an indicator to show if a vendor has not onboarded. This takes the form of an orange dot before the vendor’s company name in ‘MANAGE VENDORS.’
Thus, if you have sent an invitation for an assessment to a vendor, but they have not onboarded (i.e. created a password in the Findings platform), the orange dot will appear adjacent to the vendor’s company name.

How to Use this New Feature?
- Create a new vendor.
- On the dashboard, click the ‘Manage Vendors’ button again.
- The orange dot will appear adjacent to the vendor’s company name (until the vendor onboards).
2. Search for a Vendor by Status #
We added the ability for users to search for vendors by their status so that users can see the stages that vendors are at in the procurement process.
How to Use this New Feature?
- On the dashboard, click the ‘Manage Vendors’ button.
- In the search box, type the desired status, of which there are five:
- ‘Pending request’;
- ‘Assessment in progress’;
- ‘BO request not approved’;
- ‘Security team – Approved’;
- ‘Security team – Decline’.
The search box in ‘Manage vendors’ will enable users to find vendors according to their status.
A list of all the vendors at the stage of ‘Pending request’ in their process.
3. How to Know When There Has Been a Findings/Recommendations Update #
We added a feature that notifies users when there is a new update in findings/gaps/tasks.
How to Use this New Feature?
- The flickering dot in the dashboard in ‘TASK/FINDINGS LIST’ and in the assessment itself next to ‘View Findings’ means that there is a new update in the findings to review.
- When a customer updates a finding, the flickering dot will appear on the vendor’s side (and vice versa).
The flickering dot under recommendations alerts users to a findings update in an assessment

4. Improve Vendor Score Over Time #
A major milestone we achieved today is enabling the vendor’s assessment score to improve as a result of mitigating their findings/tasks. We now enable users to change an answer for a specific question after a finding/task has been fixed and approved.
How to Use this New Feature?
- Approve a finding/task, and it is fixed.
- The vendor can subsequently select a different answer where necessary.
- The customer clicks the thumbs up button to accept the fix.
- The finding status then automatically changes from ‘APPROVED’ to ‘CLOSED.’

5. Export an Assessment into an Excel Spreadsheet #
We added a feature that enables users to export a vendor assessment with all the answers/findings/score into an excel file.
How to Use this New Feature?
- In ‘ASSESSMENT LIST’ on the dashboard, check the box for the relevant assessment and then click on the ‘excel’ icon to export the file.
- IMPORTANT – You can only export one file at a time.
