This blog post showcases, step-by-step, how to generate a vendor’s assessment report for a vendor. Please note, a report can only be generated once the assessment has a status of ‘Finalized,’ ‘Pass’ or ‘Fail.’ (Thus, if the assessment is ‘Not Started’ or ‘In Progress,’ a report cannot be generated.)

Step 1 – Tick the Assessment You Want to Generate a Report for #
Scroll down to the ‘ASSESSMENT LIST’ in your Findings dashboard. Under the ‘Show’ header in ‘ASSESSMENT LIST’ on the left, there will be a box for each assessment. Tick/check the box (or boxes) for the assessment(s) you want to generate a report for.

After ticking the relevant box(es), four icons will appear in red under the ‘ASSESSMENT LIST’ bar:
- ‘Generate a .zip report’;
- ‘Generate report’;
- ‘Send to archive’;
- Export to an excel file.

Step 2 – Generating a .zip Report & a Report in a New Window #
You now have two choices for generating a report:
- A .zip report; or
- A report in a new window.
Whichever you select, you can only generate a report if the assessment has a status of ‘Finalized,’ ‘Pass’ or ‘Fail.’ (If the assessment has a status of ‘Not Started’ or ‘In Progress,’ a report will not be generated, even if you click either of the icons that generate reports.)
Generating a .zip Report #
Click the first of the four icons to generate a .zip report.

Subsequently, a downloaded zip file will appear in the bottom left corner above the Windows tab. Click the zip file.

Then, your filepad will open with a PDF file of the assessment report.

Generating a Report in a New Window #
Click the second of the four icons in ‘ASSESSMENT LIST’ to generate a report.

Subsequently, a new window will open in your internet browser, containing the report of your assessment in a PDF format.

To download the report as a PDF file, go toward the top right corner of the screen. There, you will see three icons:
- The download icon;
- The print icon; and
- Three vertical dots.
Click the download icon, the first of the three.

Subsequently, your filepad will open. Type the name you want to give the assessment into the ‘File name’ box. In addition, decide where you want to save the report, and click the ‘Save’ button.

Thus, you have generated an assessment report, and saved it as a PDF.
